My good friend Destiney hosted us for dinner last night at her house. We had a really nice time; the food was great, the company superb and the weather was perfect. Perhaps another reason we SO enjoyed ourselves was that we were hosted, You see, both Doug & I have the spiritual gift of hospitality, so it is usually at our house where everyone gathers - and we love that! But - sometimes - it's nice to be the hosted instead of the hostess!

We had a really nice night - and it was a reminder about how good to us the Lord is when He knits us together as the family of Christ

ReplyDeleteWe are the same way. We love to host and do all the time. Really, all the time and we love it. It is just not a huge production for us- very easy. But it is nice every once in a while to be hosted :)
