Opening Day for West Fullerton Little League..but more importantly - for Becky! She reluctantly put on her baseball pants (she is generally in a "no pants" phase of her development - and her jersey was so long that she actually suggested wearing the belt around it as as dress!) Ready to go.....
Apparently, the banner is very competitive - and I think our team mom did an amazing job! Becky is still excited at this point....
However, once I left her with her team (I had to announce our names) she changed her mind - and pretty much cried through the whole parade - necessitating an personal escort by one of the coaches. She also found out what everyone else in our family already knows...when it's alphabetical, you will probably be at the end of the line!
I finally went out with the team - which turned out to be a good thing as all the kids got pretty restless pretty quickly and many parent hands were needed!
Pretty sure the favorite part of the day was the visit by the fire truck!
Several hour break...then on to the first game of the season!
Who cares about baseball?! She looks totally cute in that uniform! :)
