Wednesday and Thursday night on the east coast were spent with our good friends Monica & Claude and their three great kids - Kelsey, Gaby and Colson. Gaby and Becky soon became inseparable- and let Katie tag along (see this post).
LIttle boy Colson found a fast friend in Doug - they were watching opening day baseball!
Katie did get a chance to ride the jeep....this one scared me...flash forward 12 years or so!
But they sure are having fun together!!
Katie was born to live in the country - no doubt about it! She gets up with the sun - and loves being outside...plus she looks pretty cute in those boots!
The horses (or donkey in this case) are always appealing from far away...but she's not quite so brave up close!

Katie finally got to drive - notice she is not actually steering. She never quite got the hang of steering, so we set the steering wheel and she just went around in a nice, big gentle circle. Worked for everyone
