That's the New Orleans word for bonus - and I have three to report. Last night, my new friend Elizabeth stopped by to see if mom would babysit after Becky was in bed for an hour or so....so we could go get massages! We had one hour massages at the Shamian Traditional Chinese Medical Center and paid 68 RMB (that's about $10). It was great!
The second bonus was that Becky slept though the night! YIPPEE!!!! I am not counting on that to continue consistently for a while - but it sure was nice.
Finally - our good friend Brenda found us on skype this morning and we were able to see her & talk to her; I am a little homesick right now, so that really helped. Those who know me well know that being homesick is a very unfamiliar emotion for me - so it's really weird. One more sleep and we will be on our way home!

Karen - I hope the trip home goes well. It will all become a two week blur soon, but hopefully you remember all the good parts. Don't you love the "just wait in case you're needed" parts?
