A Little Praise & Worship

This morning, we went to church here in Guangzhou. There is a Chinese Christian Church about one block from the hotel and the 11:00 service is a Chinese-English service. Becky did amazing - I think all she needed was to praise the Lord - and she sat through a two hour service and was easy to entertain!

After church, we went to Lucy's for lunch. There was a CWA picnic on Saturday in North Carolina that we obviously missed (!!) so we had our own at Lucy's. If you look carefully at this picture, you can see my almost full beer that about 2 minutes after we took this photo was all over the table, the baby carrier, the baby & the mommy courtesy of curious little hands and an inattentive mom!

She also is starting to engage a little bit with the other kids - here she & Lia (Joel & Lisa's baby) are working on sharing.....or not!

Tonight - I was smarter - and we were back in the high chair! Due to the aforementioned incident with the beer, we have also mastered the stroller (for which I am thankful - this 45 year old back isn't built for this!).

Tomorrow is our medical exam in the morning - it should take all of about 20 minutes, then we are free for the rest of today - shopping & pool time are on our agenda!
