We had a family reunion today.
All of Doug's brothers and their families along with his uncle and aunts from Ohio gathered today.
It was loud!
There was a lot of food. (a LOT)
There was fun and laughter and love and stories and connection and all the things that make a family a family.
Including adorable babies with bubbles!
We got to meet our nieces husband today for the first time - he's pretty awesome! I love to see our young girls marry men who are awesome.
BBQ fun.....(although with our niece Chelsie, it's always fun!)
Senior statesman Uncle Dennie - who informed me the first time he met me that I was the "best and last Mrs. Doug Yingling"! - Love this guy!
The brothers and Aunt Leah. Her twin Aunt Lana went to be with Jesus a few months ago, and we were missing her today.
It's ALL about the desserts out here!
The unique club of the women married to the brothers. We share a special bond. I wish I lived closer to these women, because even if I wasn't related to them, I would be friends with them. Being sister in laws with them is a highlight of being a part of the Yingling family!
We felt loved today. It was crazy and chaotic and messy, but it was real and comfortable and accepting and caring and fun!
