Sweetness Of Christmas - Day 3

Church. 

For those who belong to a great, supportive, Jesus following fellowship - that word represents all the is good. 

For those who find it other than that, it is so far from what Jesus would desire that they have turned their back not only on church, but on Jesus. 

We are blessed that we have found a great church that we love. It is not perfect; but who among us is? Why would we expect a group of imperfect sinners to come together to be perfect? 

One of the great things they do well is an awesome Christmas tree! 

But way better than any Christmas tree is their annual special abilities ministry Christmas program. This year - we had two performers! 

This is about the closest and happiest these two have been together - 

Every child has a speaking part - and a helper to support them. Julie's part was about why she likes Milky Ways (but it could have been any candy....the girl likes her some sweet treats!) 

Katie had a BLAST! She has the same helper for the past three years. She loves Conner - and we love him too for how he loves her! 

The sweet shoppe - with some sweet girls! 

The best - very, very best thing about this night - better than the 1200 people who came or the love that was poured out by our church our these precious kids and adults with special abilities.....was the personal fans that came to support our kids. 

Julie's teacher came.....I love her! 

Katie's teacher from the last two year left the classroom this year - but she came to see Katie. Katie was beyond thrilled - as were we!

On the 3rd day of Christmas, my true love gave to me....

a church that truly embodies the spirit of the Trinity.
