We waited a whole week before we too Katie to the beach. When Becky came home, she was so overwhelmed and not walking that we waited a while - but Katie...well, we thought she was ready to be full indoctrinated as a California girl - and we were right! She loved it - everything about it! It was too cold as far and we were concerned to go in the water (although a couple of times we have to talk the girls away from the waves!)
This is Doug's favorite day on the beach - with no one else there!
We had a little lunch
and then it was back to playing!
Katie has now passe yet another milestone into her assimilation into the Yingling family - she had her first (but certainly not her last!) winter beach day...and for all our snow bound friends - it was about 65 at the beach and 75 at the house....come visit!!!

What a wonderful "first" experience for Katie! She looks quite taken with the experience. I love the expressions on her face as she takes it in.
